This is 2nd order post baby delivery. But this is my 1st 3D cake experience. Hmm actually also 2nd.. First one is Canon 60D 3D cake for my beloved husband :)
At first, I'm a bit confused whether take the order or not since it's very challenging for me to do 3D cake, especially the details. But I thought myself why not. Before making it, I browsed a lot in the Internet searching on how to make one.
I chose Ferrari 458 Italia for this 3D cake. I used steamed brownies as the base cake. After carving the cake, I covered with fondant. For me the hardest part is duplicating the details of the car. It wasn't as easy as I thought. This is the best I can do and I'm still not satisfied about it. Hope next time can do better and hope the customer happy enough with this.
PS: my husband said it was good enough.. Hahaha.. What a good husband..
